On 21st June 2025, the skateboarding family in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh came together to celebrate GO Skateboarding Day – at Hilltop Skatepark, Danish Hills. The day was packed with contests, giveaways, and pure skate energy, bringing together skaters from across the central region of the country to push their limits, learn new tricks, share the stoke, and showcase the spirit of Indian skate culture.
Contest Highlights

Downrail Domination – As the name suggests, Best trick down the rail gets a rad T-shirt and a set of HAZE wheels from ISC. People went crazy when Adi (Indore) laid down a clean Backside-boardslide body-varial out गजब छोटू. watch the reel..

Shuv-it Attack – Local talent Riya Jain (Bhopal) landed consistent and stylish Fakie shuv-its (12 in 90 seconds) to take home a clear Griptape from ISC in this tech battle.

Game of SKATE – Once again, Adi proved unstoppable, locking in the win with creativity and consistency on the flatground. He defeated all participants and won a set of HAZE wheels (54mm 101 A).

Longest Ollie Challenge – Aditya wasn’t done yet! He cleared an incredible 8 decks, securing yet another victory and the respect of every skater present एक नंबर. watch the reel..

Community Vibes 
The energy at Hilltop Skatepark was गजब, 7 hours of Skateboarding. From tic-tac beginners to advanced skaters throwing down heavy tricks, everyone shared the same passion for skateboarding. Giveaways and spot prizes kept the hype going, with skaters walking away with gear, merch, and memories. Events like these aren’t just about competition – they’re about building the skate community, inspiring the next generation, and putting India on the global skateboarding map. Bhopal Skateboarding has graduated a lot with a few responsible senior community skaters who have given their everything for the love of Sport.

Starting with Shashank Seth, an active community skater keeps the social vibe of the scene in check, our very own coach and founder Anubhav vijayvargiya, a multi-sport enthusiast Anind, B-Boy & Skateboarder UD, Karan from Ujjain, Arnav Vishwakarma skates almost everyday, with valuable additions from Indore city Aditya and Prayag. Soon there will be a skateshop in Bhopal.

Looking Ahead 
GO Skateboarding Day is more than just a date – it’s a movement. At Indian Skate Culture, we believe in growing this culture, city by city, park by park.
