Ever since Bhopal got it own skatepark, we are promulgating the sport in every way possible. Starting from coaching to championships, skateboarding is growing hitherto undreamt of. Dhadaam is the maiden skateboarding championship of Bhopal, yearly recurring and yearly progressing. Over two high-energy days, Hilltop Skatepark, Bhopal transformed into the beating heart of Indian skateboarding as we hosted the second edition of the Dhadaam Skate Comp. Organised by Indian Skate Culture in association with Apka Score and the Madhya Pradesh Roller Skating Association, the championship marked the third official skateboarding competition ever held at this venue (we did a GO skateboarding day event as well), and without doubt, the most dynamic one yet.

Dhadaam Skate Comp is not just a contest — it’s a mixture of fun contests designed and celebrated around skateboarding to foster the growth of the sport. Through this championship central India is carving its own place on the national skateboarding map. From young first-timers to seasoned competitors, skaters from across Madhya Pradesh and beyond came together, united by a shared love for progression, creativity, and community. The vibe was raw, welcoming, and unapologetically skate. The competition format was designed to celebrate every dimension of skateboarding, not just podium finishes. Across the two days, the skatepark hosted an exciting mix of contests including Street and Park categories, Best Trick, Game of S.K.A.T.E., Pump Track Time-Trial, Feku Freestyle, and Best Run. This multi-format approach ensured that every skater — whether technical, fast, stylish, or experimental — had a platform to shine and express with complete freedom.
